Copyright for Images/Models?
Hello, for the game I am making I will be using blender to craft models of weapons and that kind of thing. If I search around for reference photos to base my model off are these images copyrighted so I would get in trouble for basing my model off them? Is it fine to just take stuff from Google images and model from it?

My 2 cents: The images themselves may be copyrighted so don't use them AS images unless you get permission. But making a model based on the images as a reference, I think you can do that, but I can imagine some people objecting to it. It might depend on what you do with it. If it's weapons and stuff I can't see why they'd care. If it were real people, I can see why they might care, but even then I think it's a gray area at best. Let's just say, it's done all the time.
