Visual Effects : Speaker Sound Waves?
Hello,
I'm working on a dramatic effect game, and I want to know how it would be possible to make sound waves come from a speaker? As if its playing a song? I'm sure you can imagen what it would look like - distorting the atmosphere around the speaker in a ripple effect.
Thanks, Ollie

Import the Glass Refraction standard package, and make a material using the glass distortion shader, where the tint color texture is set to none, and the normalmap texture is set to a "sound wave"-like texture. You can put the material on a plane in front of the speaker, and animate the scale and/or the normalmap texture in order to make the ripple effect.
