Create line by new Mesh. How to create / calculate line thickness?
Unity Line renderer usless.
I want to create my own analogue.
Using "new Mesh, vertices, SetIndices, MeshTopology"
I have a list of points (Vector3, positions).
I can create SINGLE line by positions:
_mesh.vertices = points;
_mesh.SetIndices(indices, MeshTopology.Lines, 0);
How to create / calculate line thickness?
As I understand you need to use "MeshTopology.Quads"
why is useless? what do you try to do? generating meshes is not as easy as creating a line. the meshtoplogy will generate the mesh using quads wont create a quad, if you want a quad that work as a line scale that quad. here is a great tutorial for mesh creation https://unity3d.com/es/learn/tutorials/projects/procedural-cave-generation-tutorial/creating-meshes
