Unity 2018 changed MonoDevelop color scheme.
I recently updated from Unity 2017 to Unity 2018.1.3f1, and now whenever I create a new C# script and open it in MonoDevelop, the text colors are completely different! This makes it difficult to edit code, since everything is either white or dark pink.

Is there any way to revert to the old color scheme?
They've ended support for $$anonymous$$onoDevelop, so I suspect the code highlighting module for Unity didn't get installed.
Ah, so should I just switch to Visual Studio or something then?
If you want that install, sure, or if you're on Windows 10, you can check out Visual Studio Code - which is a far smaller install, and comes with one of the creator updates.

Try going to Tools > Options > Text Editor > Syntax Highlighting and see if there is any theme you like or create your own by clicking on New. From there you will chose a theme to start from then you will edit it.
