Particle System Appearing 2D
I am new to Unity and have been creating a 3D space themed game. Currently, I've been working on making a thruster. However, the flame, which I am making using a particle system, appears 2D. This really bothers me, and it ruins (not as extreme, but I couldn't think of a better word) the game. Here's a screenshot of what I mean.
Sorry to say, but I can't really see anything in the screenshot. Could you elaborate, what should it look like? :D
The fire co$$anonymous$$g out looks 2d. The white circle is still white, with the particles shooting out from a line that divides the circle. I want it so that the particles come out from the entire circle, not just the line that divides it.
It seams that your particles are rather big if they are the yellow quads(?), make them smaller so we can see each particle and increase the amount of them. Also if you want to change the emission try setting [Shape] to Cone and Radius to a larger value so that the base match the white circle. Almost anything is possible with the Shape, try it... you will see what the shape looks like when you change it (light blue in my first picture).

I agree with Klarzahs, it's not easy to see what you are trying to achieve. But here are some settings for my particle system for a thruster (especially the shape part is important). I also use a forcefield to concentrate the flame.
$$anonymous$$y thing is very similar to yours. I haven't heard of a forcefield before, so I'm going to have to check that out. It might help me do what I want. Can you post a picture from the back if you don't $$anonymous$$d?

Maybe you can use shadergraph for this but particle system use material. If you change material settings maybe you can capture the image you want.
