Particles, Sub Emitter Rotation
I've seen this question posted before but there wasn't really an answer to this seemingly basic issue.
I'm making a ground pound type ability effect, so an animated texture on a horizontal billboard plays of the ground cracking and I want a dust cloud to puff up.
The problem is that I cannot rotate the cone sub-emitter upwards, so it always emits sideways.
From the other questions (and own experience)... it's not possible

I had a similar problem (with a dust cloud) and got past this by setting the start speed to 0 and then adjusting the cloud direction with 'Velocity over Lifetime' (in World space)

The only way I was able to resolve this issue was by un-parenting the sub-emitter from the parent emitter, and instead parenting everything to an empty gameobject.
