Visual Effect Graph - Get Random Mesh Coordinate
Hi!
I'm trying to port a Niagara (Unreal) emitter to VEG, and there's a function that I can't find anything remotely resembling it.
In Niagara I can use a function on a mesh called Random Tri Coord
. It gets a coordinate on the mesh surface, which I'm using to create a morphing effect.
Is there something similar? Or am I able to expand VEG and create a similar function (maybe from a shader)? I'm new to VEG on Unity and I'm migrating a project from Unreal, and this is a major roadblock.
The VFX that I'm trying to migrate actually comes from this YT tutorial.
