View information on one item at a time
I have a game where the player click on things and then see a bit of info on what they clicked, but, if they click on the item and then click on another item, after viewing the info on the first item and pressing the button to advance the text while it's empty, it will prompt the information on the second item so start displaying. How can I keep this from happening?
Possibly useful code (both of these methods are for buttons): public void ClickedRedSquare() { if (!talking) { talking = true; dialogueBox.SetActive(true); textBlock1.SetActive(true); courtRecord.recordButton.SetActive(false); } }
public void ClickedBlueSquare()
{
if (!talking)
{
talking = true;
dialogueBox.SetActive(true);
blueBlock1.SetActive(true);
courtRecord.recordButton.SetActive(false);
}
}
