Any suggestions on how to restrict ages under 14 in registration?

I am having a tough time finding and coming up with ideas on how to restrict young people who are 13 or below to register or not be able to play our game. It will be a big help to hear your answers. Thank you!

What platform are you making your game for? This isn't something that is done in unity but is something that is done when you upload your game to steam/ android services etc, before you publish it.

Honestly it is our thesis and that is one of the revisions that we need to make. We don't have any plans on uploading it anywhere so I guess this can't really be done. Thank you. :)

I guess the one thing you could do is to have a screen at registration asking for the users date of birth. That way you can figure out their age.

But players can still cheat their way in if a certain age and above is allowed right? They will lie about their birth date in registration just like in any other games. Haha (I'm finished with this problem btw but I'm still wondering hahaha)
