Making a npc walk animated

Question

Hey, I just got a npc, that follows the player, but When moving. it plays the idle animation, any way to fix that?

Using unity 2019.4.28f1 btw.

have you added an animation to the npc. Infact, now that i begin to answer your question i realise how little information we have to work with. what else have you done? have you given the npc bones? does it have any other animations where idle is just one of them but it is only doing idle?
