[Beginner Question] Loading, Destroying and Replacing UI Background Sprites (2D)
Hi Folks,
New to C# so this might be crazy easy simple. I'm creating a short text adventure, which has taught me a lot already, however I'm going off the course slightly by adding background images that represent where the player is as they complete the story.
I'm looking to attach a script to an image gameobject in the scene (which in my mind would lock the dimensions in place without coding them), and have the script itself load the images upon game start and scene change (when a specific is button pressed).
Hope that makes sense - perhaps someone has a link to a tutorial that can help? There isn't anything directly relevant I've found so far online.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to peruse :)
