What is the best way to draw visual helper (skill shoot helper) ?

Hi !

My question is about the visual aid of a player's skill shoot (like in Wildstar). For those who don't know, all skills have a different action's areas who are drawn on the floor. I want to experiment a system where the player only can throw skill shoot.

So my question is : What is the best way to do that in term of performance and/or in term of use ?

I have found two operating methods : GL or create a custom mesh filter and display.

You can also use a LineRenderer, or a Projector.

Hi, The projector can be a very good idea, but it need one material by different "skill shoot area" what can be a lot of work, mostly on debug phase.
