Infinite Loading Screen
Whenever I load up Unity this loading screen just shows up and it never does anything. I have reinstalled it 4 times because my pc uninstalled it because it was having issues with the program. Ever since there were issues with visual studio and unity, my pc has had points where nothing could load at all (exe files could not be read) and it freezes a lot. Games crash all the time.
I am not sure what the issue is. It is getting really annoying because I just built this pc and I have not had problems with it up until now.
I'm getting that same loading screen. I left it for four hours today and nothing happened.,I'm having the exact same problem.
Here is what worked for me after trying various solutions found online:
This method is tested by me on Unity 2019.4.13f1
Step#1: White List two executables in your firewall program: \Editor\Unity.exe \Editor\Data\Resources\Package$$anonymous$$anager\Server\UnityPackage$$anonymous$$anager.exe
Step#2: Set Environmental Variables: HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY and UNITY_NOPROXY=localhost,127.0.0.1
Step#3: Go to, C:\Users(account name)\AppData(sometimes it's Hidden)\Roa$$anonymous$$g\Unity then delete all files in there
After you have done all 3 steps, it should work for you. Good Luck!

I get this same loading screen, and I just barely installed it. If anyone finds a solution, please let me know!

I don't know how it works. Version Of Unity Is 2018. I had the same error with infinite loading, I had Unity 2017 installed before, I just started it and then everything loaded, I tried to go back to Unity 2018 and it also loaded. I solved this problem try it at home too (I understand this post was written in 2018, but I want to help just those who get the same error). @PreInfinity

Same happened to me. I installed about 5 times now ... trying various methods found online. Here is one of the instance I saved a screenshot.
Here is what's showing on Task $$anonymous$$anager. I took screenshots at various times and I noticed programs were still loading .. oh fun.. couldn't upload images...
