Unity Networking/Multiplayer and OnMouseDown() Question
This may be a bit of a high level question. I have been working on a board game in Unity, with the goal for it to be networked using Unity built in Multiplayer (UNET I think it is called?), that will have 2 players at max.
To summarize, both players will have their own camera view of the board. At the moment, I am utilizing the gameobject OnMouseDown() method to move game pieces and various other things when a particular gameObject on the board is clicked by a player.
Question: Is there a way to tell what player (client, host, camera, etc) clicked on a gameObject to make OnMouseDown() fire? I want to find a way to limit the non active player from clicking on the board objects while it is the other player's turn. Is OnMouseDown() the wrong approach here?
