Unity 5 Bug on Open/New Project Window
Hi Guys, I have very anoying bug that I can't solve it well.
the buttons aren't clickable, so I can't create or open project from there. My workaround is using command lines, but I can't just using command lines every time I open Unity.
anyone has this problem? tried reinstalling but didn't work.
Have you tried reinstalling? I have normal appearance on two different machines so I guess it has to do with yours.
Hi everyone, I'm trying to reproduce that issue. I would like to know did you guys uninstalled the older version? did you just replace the old build with the new one? or is it in a separate folder? What version you had before? thanks!
Hi, this issue has occured since few months ago. it was 5.0.0f4. reinstalling the same version for several times make it works again
I know it has something to do with Resources folder, so i back-up it. when it works again I restore it back. and the issue come again.
If you want to reproduce the issue i can upload the buggy Resources folder to you.
We had a patch release that fixed some of the project Window issues, try it out if you're really stuck 5.1.1p3 http://unity3d.com/unity/qa/patch-releases
If you have worked around it and would rather wait for a full release, 5.1.2 will be out very soon.
thanks, I'm using 5.1.0f3 and the issue still co$$anonymous$$g (rarely). waiting for the next full release...
