Player Caught on Tilemap Seams
I have a bit of an issue with Unity's tilemap collider 2D. My character occasionally get caught on the seams between tiles when sliding down a wall, and bounces off the seams when walking along the floor.
I have seen others post about similar issues in various forums. The solution given is usually related to checking "Used by Composite" under the tilemap Collider, adding a composite collider 2D, then changing the rigidbody 2D to kinematic. This solves the problem, but creates a bigger one... My character will get stuck in the ground after falling slightly too fast (which can be after jumping from a platform). It looks like others have found similar problems with this "solution" but with no additional solution.
Any ideas on how to fix either of these problems?
