page flip for ipad
Hi,
Can anyone help me out please? I need to learn how to implement the page flip for the iPad using Unity.
In this example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQbha2tOY5Y
He said that he used 2d planes, masking, gradients, camera per 'layer', 'depth'to arrange them, etc
Can anyone point me in the right direction to how to learn how to do these please?
Thanks!
in the comments on that video it basically shares how he created it, and what methods he used. Seems straight forward to me, using several cameras and using tricks with depth and gradients create the effect. For help with each of the things he talks about, google for the stuff they talk about in the comments, showing more techniques to use.
Good question ! I looked into it and I'm following this tutorial right now. It's for flash though, you need to adapt it to Unity.

It's a really cool technique. Like I said in comments, you can make it with this tutorial.
You really should do it by yourself, but if you're stuck, here is what I came up with. There is only the horizontal axis so far. Oh, and I don't know about compatibility with Ipad / phone, I work on webplayer.
@Berenger the link you posted "https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/82985785/FlippingThePage.rar"
is not working.. i need your help with this.. can you please post this again.. Thanks.
