losing speed upon collision with the ground
i have a high speed car I've designed using a cylinder and a rigidbody.
everything works near perfectly except that when i go off of a jump the car loses a large portion of it's forward velocity when it hits the ground, causing a sudden stop or slow down.
If any one has experience with this issue can you please help me figure out what is causing it.

Have a look a the Physic Materials you are using for both the car and the ground. Mainly, look at restitution and friction. If there is too much friction between the car and the ground, they will naturally interfere with eachother.

thanks this worked perfectly =)
i thought my car was independent of physics materials but I guess I was wrong heh
