Rigidbody2D.Postion has not moved object even after many Fixed Updates.

Am I not understanding how this works correctly? I figured it would at least have been moved after the next physics update, which i figured would have happened at least after 2 Fixed Updates, but after much testing moving the object back and forth between positions even doing it every other, every 4, and every 8 fixed updates, it still occasionally hasn't moved by the time i try to move it again. In fact at every 8 fixed updates it was the worst, every other time it didn't move. How freaking long do i have to make the player wait before they can place the object after picking it up? Do i have to reduce performance by setting transform.position to get things to work the way it really looks like they're supposed to? Forgot to mention this but when i debug.log out the rigidbody's position it HAS already moved, but the transform.position hasn't. added it here on case comment wasn't seen.

Forgot to mention this but when i debug.log out the rigidbody's position it HAS already moved, but the transform.position hasn't.
