[ EDITOR ] How to lock \ freeze a gameobject from selection, but still visible?
Hi guys,
Has anyone figured out how to lock \freeze individual gameobjects?
Kind of like in 3dsmax where you can FREEZE a mesh from selection, but still can see it's location in 3d space.
I can't use the "Layers" drop down on the "Top Right" of the editor, because multiple objects use the same layer names.
Thanks for the help!

If it has a mesh filter, select the little circle option to change it to "none". You will not see it, but you can still move it etc via selection from the hierarchy.
It also will allow you to multi-select via drag selection on the scene view without selecting it also.
Does that help?
@sniper02311 hmm that's an interesting take. Unfortunately I still need to see the mesh filters so I can line up the artwork to the collision boxes. Like placing grass or boxes to be on the same spot as the collision box.
Thanks tho!
