Listener for GUIText.text change?
Hi, all,
Is there some way I can listen for changes to GUIText.text? Is there an event thrown when the text is changed?
My goal is ultimately to change some other GUIText objects to match the first one, but I can't find a way to intercept or listen in to changes to .text.
Right now my workaround is to attach a script component that gets called INSTEAD of GUIText.text (ex: fancyGuiText.ChangeText('whatever') instead of guiText.text = 'whatever') and I think in this case that's acceptable, although it doesn't quite feel right. I'd like to just react to the existing .text change.
