3D Sound not working

Hello,

I've been trying to fix this problem for the past week or so. I'm trying to make a simple vertical scrolling game where I have some lasers. The lasers all have an audio source, and audio.Play is called to play the sound clip. I have put my Sound Listener on my player, but no matter where my player is, the laser sound is heard a full level. This is quite annoying when I have about 5 or more lasers. I have the attenuation all setup correctly, and I have "AudioVelocityUpdateMode.Dynamic" on the audio source.

Any suggestions? All the sound files are .WAV and all are converted to MONO in Unity.

Using the latest Unity beta 3.5.1f

Are they set as 2d or 3d?

They're all set as 3D.

Do you have another audio listener on your camera? And check the falloff.

@rcfz Where do you have the audio sources for the lazers set up in the scene? Are they spread about the playing area. It almost sounds like the sources are parented to your player, make sure thats not the case.

Check what your doppler is set to(higher than 0), and check the rolloff mode as well. $$anonymous$$aybe this will help http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/ScriptReference/AudioSource.PlayClipAtPoint.html>PlayClipAtPoint, you can set the position you want the source to play at.

Hopefully one of those suggestions will help

@OrangeLightning neither did I...then again I have -5 $$anonymous$$arma points and I just signed up for this 2 days ago...so there's that. Yay Unity Answer snobs....can't even help a brother out.

I just ran across a similar question that brought me all the way back to ask you this question: how do you have your 3d curve setup? If the curve is set as exponential it will never fully mute, switch it to linear, I always add an extra point on the curve to make it more dynamic, and also check you $$anonymous$$ and max range...the default is 500 which is a huge area!

Same problem.

Clip is 3D.

Audio Source is setup but no matter where my main camera is (it has the listener) the sound is played full volume.
