Beginner Question about Canvas objects
I'm a newbie to Unity so please bare with me...
this is my Canvas Hierarchy:
Scene
Canvas
Test1
Test2
Text
If what I am looking for on the Canvas is Test1 this works fine:FindWhat = GameObject.Find("Canvas/Test1");
But if I change Test1 to Test2... I get an Object not Referenced Error because Test2 has a child.... why is this? and what is the solution?

Are you sure Test2
is active when calling the method? The fact the object has child has no impact on this method.
