Multiple Android users and split APK issue

We have a split APK for installation to an Android device. It works fine if there's only one user but if they switch accounts, it doesn't work on the second account - simply hanging on the loading screen, which suggests that the OBB file isn't being read.

Google have said something about a getObbDir() method, which is... what? That doesn't sound like something in Unity an end user would have access to.
