Particle system glitching in android build but works fine in editor
Issue: Particle system works as intended in editor, but when android build is run on a mobile phone, it flickers and glitches creating weird lines and shapes. In some scenes I could see that on the origin the glitches were more.
1)Build where the bullet has particle system + trail renderer = Most Glitchy
2)Build where the bullet has only particle system = Less Glitchy
3)Build where bullet has no particle effects or trail = Least glitchy but very small glitches still occur.

Things I tried:
1. General mobile optimization tips like switching vsync off etc.
2.Tried object pooling instead of instantiating and destroying bullets.
3.In the middle of development, I had upgraded from 2019.4.18f1 to 2020.2.1f1. So suspecting that this could have caused the problem, I downgraded my project back to 2019.4.18f1 and tried building to android. Didn't work.
4.Tried exporting many times with different particle system settings and optimizations.
5.Tried suggestions given in other threads with similar issues.
Conclusion: It's a simple 2D top down shooter with no shaders and other performance intensive elements. Yet it lags/flickers/glitches in the android build. What could be the problem causing this? What is the solution?
