How do I get the squircle icon with Android adaptive icons?

I'm working on a game for Android and iOS, and I can't figure out how to get the icon to look correct on Android.

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like on my phone.

I used the adaptive icons in Unity, and it's supposed to have a purple background with a circle in the middle, more like this.

I'm not sure what I've done wrong here, or if it's a phone-specific thing, but you can see some of the other apps are the squircle shape and some are just square.

Has anyone got any ideas?
