Change controls to vehicle controls script?

how would i go around making a script so i can press a key like 1 or 2 E.G and it would change from my first person controls to my plane script attached to my object without any camera following. Right now they both control at the same time so any help....

P.S im new to unity3D Please do it in Javascript also.
