Pros and cos of editor vs script for connecting things to game objects.
I run across a lot of code that adds event listeners to buttons. I also run across a lot of code that hooks a handler to a button in the Editor inspector. Both work. I am trying to get at the subtle differences. The ones that come to my mind are: 1. The editor connections are hard to search. 2. The script connection you can't see in the inspector. 3. The editor connection needs to be setup/modified at during development. 4. The script connection can be established/modified during runtime.
Are there other things I am missing? Is there a 'best' practice behind one way to connect a handler to a button vs the other?
