Question by vedvishal100 · Feb 09, 2017 at 03:57 PM · collisionphysicsmeshcolliderspherecollider

Roulette Ball moving from one groove to another

I am making a 3d Roulette game. I have figured out most of the physics that there is one problem. After the spin when the ball lands at any number it does not come to complete rest. It moves from 2-3 grooves to another due to physics.

My wheel is a mesh collider and ball is a sphere collider. I have kept the collision detection to Continious Dynamic on the ball.

Only the ball has a rigidbody attached to it and wheel has no rigidbody.

Even if the ball stays in one groove the balls slightly moves in the move.

My question is how to bring the ball to complete rest in the groove.

Screenshots ate attached.
