Substitute to awake when working with StateMachines?
I'm trying to make a boss fight for my game and I need a function that works like Awake() for StateMachines, as OnStateEnter is causing me problems with a timer system. Is there any function that works like the Awake() for State Machines?
Edit: I was able to find one solution. It was setting a variable to a number ( 3 ) by default, so my code would not trigger something as 3 > 0. If someone knows a way to actually answer the question, please reply. It might be useful to someone else.
