deleting the content of a directory using javascript.

first off, i apoligise for my poor english.

iam making a game where i create a lot of xml files in a directory using java, (it is extreamly im practical with a few or a predefinede number of files) these files holds a lot of information on the game, (it is procedualy generated) how ewer i would like to be able to remove the files agine, making it posble to make a new game, but i cant figure out how to delete a file / files in a spicified directory. wihout using the fileutil wich is a editorclass and as far as i know those cant be compiled and run in runtime.

enny help is gladly apriciated...
