Mecanim vs Legacy on UI anims
Hello guys!
I was watching this video from the last Unite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wxitgdx-UI
In the last part Ian (whom I couldn't find for a direct question) mentions the Animator in Unity will dirty the Canvas it's attached to at every frame. ok, but...
What about animations created with Legacy? Do they dirty the canvas they're attached to as well?
I know UI anim with Legacy is limited (can't animate sprites for instance) as it tends to sunset these days, but does a Legacy animation component also dirty the UI it's attached to? Or is it something that the Animator only does?
