Gun missing in Unity when importing model.
I have one T-Posed soldier model. This basic model is not holding gun in his hand. Gun is a separate model. Soldier has no animations. So, i made animations in Maya. So, all animations are actually fbx files. Animations contains gun in soldier's hand. But when i import the ORIGINAL T-pose model(without gun) in unity & then play animations through animation controller that i made in maya, i don't see a gun in his hand.
What can be the problem ? Should the soldier contain gun in his original T-pose position ?
Please help me. Thanks in advance.
FBX files can contain both model and animation data. It sounds like you've used model from one FBX and animation from another? If the gun doesn't exist on the model in your scene, playing an animation from an FBX that included the gun model won't suddenly make it appear.
