Best way to handle character equipment, performance wise
Hello, I am currently working on a Multiplayer Survival type of game. Wondering how I should handle the equipment of the player.
Currently all player's model parts are placed on the character and most of them is disabled and I can customize the look of the player by enabling and disabling. It seems like an easy and straight forward method to use, but I am wondering about it's impact on performance.
Could you advice me what would be the best way to approach it to ensure that the game is light weighted?
