Level Load Help

Hi All,

i need a little advice and a point in the right direction to start a script,

i have a player Obj that collides with Platforms and the platforms change color,

i need to script so that once all platforms have been changed to that color, level 2 loads up.

Many ways to do this. Example: If you know the number of platforms then you can add a counter which is increased whenever the player collides with the platform. If the counter equals the number of platforms then load level. If you want to change the color again so that it reverts to the default state when player touches them again or something you can decrease the counter.

I have tried to use the level's max points to load next level, so when the max points for the level is obtained the next level loads, i used a similar thing so that on death resets score and loads level 1.

here is what i have but score is not working, any ideas?

using UnityEngine; using System.Collections;

public class Level$$anonymous$$anager : $$anonymous$$onoBehaviour {

 public int score;

 private PlayerController player;

 // Use this for initialization
 void Start () {
     player = FindObjectOfType<PlayerController>();

 }

 // Update is called once per frame
 void Update () {
 }
 public void AddPoints(int points)
 {
     score += points;
 }

 void OnGUI()
 {
     GUILayout.Label(score.ToString());
 }

 void OnTriggerEnter2D(Collider2D other)
 {
     if(other.name == "Player")
     {
        Application.LoadLevel(1); //this is on death completely restart game
     }
     if(score >=780)
     {
         Application.LoadLevel(2); //this is so that once the current level score is obtained next level loads.
     }

 }

}

What is this script attached to? If its not attached to the player or the platforms OnTriggerEnter will not be called.

Anyway you should give a starting value to the score because it will give you errors this way. public int score = 0;
