Screen Flickers when app regains focus - iOS
This is a very strange problem I've been having for a while now. Whenever my app loses focus (such as when an iOS system prompt is on the screen or when using the multitasking bar) upon returning to the app, the screen briefly flickers with images from previous scenes that are no longer loaded.
For example, the first scene in our app loads some additional splash screens before loading our start menu scene. From the start menu scene, if I use the multitasking bar by swiping up with 4 fingers or double tapping the home button, the scene will pause normally. when I return to the app by tapping on the screen, for a split second the splash screen from our initial scene will flicker.
If I remove the splash screen GUITexture in the initial scene, the flickers just use the default blue skybox color.
There is no "DontDestroyOnLoad" for my initial scene's camera, so I am not sure why it is even still around...
Unity iOS Pro v3.5.6f4
Thanks in advance for any help on this!
