Game Froze, No Inputs

I just started with unity, because i wanted to make my own FPS. I naturally started the Micro FPS tutorial and pressed play but my cursor got locked to the center of my screen and everything froze. i couldnt press anything not even escape.basically im softlocked The only key that worked was windows which threw me out of unity. i cant find any solutions online. Please help
