Triggering animation on multiple objects at same time?

Hi,

Is it possible to trigger an animation on multiple objects simultaneously from a script?

The objects I have in mind will be instantiated at different times, so firing the animation when they are initially created isn't really an option as they will be out of sync.

I'm really looking for something along the lines of :

At 'x' time, trigger animation 'y' on objects 'a', 'b' and 'c'. - Then reset time to zero and start the timer again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
