Noob question about scenes in unity
Noob here, does anyone know if there is a reason scenes in unity are rendered all at once, like- shouldn't the first scene disappear from view once the second scene is selected, I think what I am trying to say is, are the scenes separate as far as objects placed or is it all one layer and I need to change the amount of layers in my project? Or is there something else entirely different I need to do or do I not need to do anything at all?
If anyone knows the answer pls share your thoughts.

I mean when I go about to add a new scene, do I need to do something to make that scene separate? "My scene view renders every layer on the same screen instead of separately." Is there something I need to do to make two separate scene that don't interact with one another in my editor? Like make two separate game levels. Most objects just render in all scenes and I don't know if there is something I should be doing....
