Bow Aim Y Axis (Up and Down)

Hi, I'm making a 3rd Person adventure game, and I can aim on the x axis (left and right) with my bow, but when I move my camera up and down the character stays still, and I need to can actually aim up and down, so basically I need that the character moves with the camera on the Y Axis, if anybody could help me I'll appreciate a lot.

Rotate the character's spine and/or arm bones as necessary. You can do this with an animation; just create an animation that aims from straight down to straight up and play the appropriate "time" in the animation based on where the player's aiming.

You could also just rotate the bones in code - personally I think that method would be more complicated, but it's an option.
