I receive eMail Notification 2 days later?
I have a problem, I receive my Notifications 2 days later when someone replies to my questions, how do you speed things up like instant mail.
you dont... Unity has a lot of questions to go through, so im sure the system is loaded with emails to send. Why should you be pushed to the front of the queue ? Just wait like everyone else :)
I've simply unsubscribed from the email notifications. ;-) Would die for an internal notification system in UA itself.
Thronekey are u kidding me? It's automated, unity does not go through people replies. Imagine if google mail does that, they wouldn't have business.
I experience this issue too, but also a more subtle one: I seem to mostly (maybe ONLY) get notifications of things I've already seen.
Like, I post an answer to a question. Let's say it's one that already has an answer. A day later I get a notification that the question was asked (uh, yeah, I know - I already answered it), and then a notification that the first answer was posted (yes, that was there when I first engaged with the event).
I'm not subscribed to a feed of all questions, so the only reason I'm receiving notifications about this question at all is because I interacted with it specifically - so why on Earth would the system think I need to be notified that it exists?
A very strange bug. :/ $$anonymous$$eeping on top of new activity on this site is a much bigger chore than on StackExchange.

it's probably Unity's email service that has the delay. Probably to prevent looking like spam to other email clients like gmail and outlook mail. One of my friends that runs his own hosting company is having the same problem. Emails are sent hours to days later. There really isnt anything you or him can do about it.
This has Never happend before, it just startend this month.
