mouse sensitivity changes with graphics quality
Finished making my first level and did a build to test it. All is well. In my pause menu I have an option to change graphics quality. If I run the game in the higher quality settings the mouse sensitivity is as designed, but if I lower the settings to simple or fast, the mouse is nearly dead. I mean instead of a flick of the wrist to get the player to turn I have to run the mouse all the way across my mouse pad 3 or 4 times. And this doesn't just happen if I change the graphics quality using the pause menu...if, at the start of the game when you pick resolution and quality, if I pick the lower settings to start the game the mouse sensitivity goes bad. Any ideas as to what THAT is all about? I'm not too concerned as the game visually doesn't change much when lowering the settings so it no one should really have to switch to "fast" or "simple" , but it is annoying nontheless
also....if I do a build for 32 and 64 ( my computer is 64 bit) the mouse acts up the same way but no matter what graphics setting I use. I can only do a build in 32 bit and use higher graphics settings
