Terrain Tree LOD Group Performance
Using trees with the LOD Group component massively causes CPU overload.
I have 500k on the terrain and the trees use the LOD Group, performance is affected by excessive CPU usage. Now I have the same number of trees without LOD Group, the performance is great. Why is this happening?
I also have to say that placing the 500k using a third party spawner, the performance is also good. Is this normal or is it a bug?
