processapplication.quit
When closed, external processes pause.
I have a patcher for my application, it's an external c# program. When the user accepts an update I have the unity application run said external process and then quit, which it does but once the application closes, the external process stops running/freezes.
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("Patcher/Patcher.exe");
Application.Quit();
I assume it's because the process is somehow dependant on the unity app being alive, but from what I've read using Process.Start() shouldn't associate the process with the current application.
How can I run the seperate process with no dependencies to the unity application?
