Unity multiplayer solutions: Photon, Unity Networking - what else and in what way is good?

Hi, guys!

My name is Anton, me and my mates at our indie studio www.BeastHour.com are developing a 3rd person multiplayer game on Unity using Photon for Unity (PUN).

.

We are thinking about switching to some other networking solution as Photon doesn’t have some important out-of-the-box features that our project needs.
.
Currently we are developing a prototype using peer-to-peer system, as we need speed to test gameplay and ideas. But we are also thinking about moving to server solution in future. .

So, we would appreciate, if you tell us about both variants!

To clear up what we are concerned about, we've prepared a short description of our game and several questions:

= = = Our game description:

Platform: PC, Mac

Genre: Realtime session 3D-shooter with lobby and RPG elements (like Panzar https://panzar.ru/, Quake, Unreal Tournament etc.)

Techs: Realtime GI, PBR, Post Processing Stack

.

Tools needed:

=> Save system for player profile (score, exp, costumization elements, gear, inventory state etc.)

=> Lobby

=> Matchmaking

=> Analytics

=> In-game purchase

=> Leader boards

1) Is it good idea to migrate to Unity Networking considering long-term perspective?

2) What are the alternatives?

3) What can you recomend to use taking into consideration our game specifics?
