Can you use a GazePoint eyetracking camera inside a Unity Project? Has it been done before?
So to preface, the GazePoint GP3 eye-tracking camera that I'm interested in is a small peripheral and you communicate with it using XML over a TCP/IP connection, I'm going to try and use it to record where users are looking on the screen for a research project.
While a lot of people use the Tobii tracker in their games, I haven't seen anything about the GP3, so I have two questions:
1 - Has anyone used a GazePoint camera before in a Unity Project? what was your experience like?
2 - If you haven't used one before, do you have any opinions on it's usability inside Unity?
P.S I'm a beginner to using peripherals in Unity so any discussion is welcome. Thank you :)
