When transitioning to a new audio snapshot, can I exclude a group?
I have a master group In the audio mixer, all other groups are children of that master. snapshots work fine for all the children groups. I left the master at 0db for those.
I am setting the value of the master slider elsewhere, via an exposed parameter.
If I lower the master group volume, when I do the transition to a snapshot, it moves the master back towards the 0db of the snapshot, I understand that is because that is what it is in that snapshot, this is expected.
I would like to know how I can either ignore the snapshot value of the master group when doing the transition, similar to animation masking, or dynamically change the master group volume of the snapshot I wish to transition to before i do that transition. Is there a function that does this? Or a way to have non children audio groups still piped through some master group?
Found a small workaround, if you have a reference to the Audio$$anonymous$$ixer, you can use GetFloat to get the value of an exposed groups' value, then after transitionTo, you can use setfloat to set it to what it was before the transition. Pretty hacky, and wouldn't scale well but it works for now.
