Can I use static batching in Unity Free?
Hi,
in the documentation I read that static batching is only available in Unity Pro (here), but I don't know if it is talking about automatic static batching or in fact this feature is restricted to Unity Pro users. For example, can I use this from Unity Free?
http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/ScriptReference/StaticBatchingUtility.html
Thanks!
@fff$$anonymous$$alzbier this is an old post, but... Now with the new Unity 5.4 plans, "Personal", "Plus", "Pro" and "Enterprise", does the "Personal" plan have static batching available?
Thanks. Stephen

In the Unity free license you can not activate the setting for Static batching.
That means: as a unity free user you can not use Static batching.
sad to read this :( ok so I will try to do my best without it, thanks

@Stephen-MF Since Unity 5.x, there have been identical engine features for all licence users. So, yes, you can use static batching with Unity Personal just fine.
