Detail Mesh Rock Lighting
So I have my rock models I would like to put into my game and for very obvious reasons I know to paint them on with the detail mesh option. The problem I'm having is after selecting my detail, in this case rock1, making sure it's vertex lit, and then painting it on the rock shows up fine until I hit play. At this point it goes from it's solid grey coloring to a bright yellow. Now I figure this is because of the scenes lighting which is yellow for the directional light. While I did want the rocks to take on the sunlight I didn't expect them to turn quite.... well the color of the sun. Or at least not to that extent.
So I changed my sun to plain white and again.... they take on so much of the light that you can't even see the texture of the models color and for some reason the bottom or outline area of the rock is STILL yellow.
So yeah, I have no idea why I'm having such issues but I'm guessing it's a rendering issue somewhere with something I haven't thought about changing. I say this because when I paint the rocks in the scene view it shows them how they should be until I hit play.
