Embedded MYSQL server
Hey all. I have a game that was originally designed to be always online and uses a host of MySQL commands to manage it's saved data.
I'm currently trying to find a way to convert this game to have an offline mode such that it runs entirely locally on the client's computer. However, I don't want the client to have to run a MySQL server (even locally). I feel that the easiest solution would be an embedded server such as is described here: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/libmysqld.html
However, it seems that this solution is depreciated. Does anyone know if there is a working embedded MySQL server solution available for Unity? Or alternatively, some library that can take MySQL commands and load/save to another (local) database format?
